Overall Review
|
This competition was probably one of B&S's best showings. The
short program, skated to Swan Lake, was perfect. The free skate
was equally magnificent, including a side by side double axel-double
toe loop combination, side by side triple toe loops, a throw triple
salchow, throw triple loop, a death spiral, and one of the best
triple twists I've seen B&S perform. It was a very tight match
against German pair Mandy Woetzel and Ingo Steuer, who stayed barely
behind B&S the entire competition. The judges placed Elena and Anton
first because of their superior artistry.
