Short Program (3) Review

In the short program, Elena and Anton skated to a
classical waltz by Johan Strauss, their short
program for the 1996-1997 season. The program
was flawless, but placed only third because B&S
were somewhat inexperienced.

Long Program (12) Review
|
The long program was a completely different story.
The performance was disastrous, including four
falls. It started off with a perfectly-rotated double
twist, and then fell apart. Anton fell on his triple
toe loop and his double axel. Elena also fell on both
her throw triple salchow and her throw triple loop.
Anton didn't even wait to hear the scores with
Elena because he was so frustrated with the
performance.
